Furloughed/ retired/ active pilots/dispatchers and recent graduates from aviation colleges would be an excellent candidates. Each of the 20 regions within the U.S. needs a site inspector who would be an independent contractor; each region has approximately 40 sites that need to be inspected yearly (3 to 4 hour visit) many of these sites are at airports. This is an independent contractor part-time position and the inspectors will have the flexibility to when the sites are inspected. The independent contractor will be compensated based on a number of sites inspected. A few requirements: 25 years of age (no upper age limit) valid driver’s license and insurance, telephone communications while traveling, have a lap-top computer and demonstrate computer systems proficiency in a Microsoft and Internet based environment with access to a printer.
